It is not an easy installation to capture on photos:
A beginner’s guide to constructing the universe-The mathematical archetypes of nature, art and science, states: “In ancient Greece the advanced students ... who were engaged in deep studies of natural science and self-understanding where called mathematekoi, “those who studied all”. The word mathema signified “learning in general, to be aware, to awaken”. If there is such a thing as mathematekoi ( a curious one) using clay as a medium...I am one. I will start in 2012 with making of Gateway 21

About Spider web
The idea:
Spider Web is inspired by the delicate beauty of water droplets caught in the spider web. It gently moves in response to the wind.
Porcelain pieces are loosely based on this microscopic image of radiolaria (marine plankton), symbolising water drops:
And this is my spider web concept:
Individually
made high fired porcelain pieces, reminiscent of microscopic entities,
symbolizing light or water droplets caught in the spider web. Pieces will make
a gentle sound when they touch in the breeze.
Remember when I was making them?
Tomorrow I will take some images of the finished installation

Sunday at Sculpture by the Sea
Actually, it was quite difficult to take a photo without too many people in it ( But I loved to see the crowds enjoying the work):

How do I feel? I'm in a dream.
I'm looking forward to seeing it without the orange flags, and of course, all the other wonderful sculptures.
